HIT creates subsidiary JV in Chile
HIT agrees new joint venture with Achernar Nanotecnologías S.A. to enter South American market.
HIT has signed an initial agreement with Santiago based consortium Achernar Nanotecnologías S.A. to develop the domestic markets in Chile.
Future expansion into other Latin American regions is also planned.
Achernar Nanotecnologías S.A. is engaged primarily in clean energy, mining, construction and real estate development projects.
The joint venture will develop and deploy the full range of HIT HNG applications into coal power plants, mining operations and water treatment facilities.
Chile and other South American countries are implementing policies to clean up and prevent the pollution impact from several industries on the environments.
The pollution from coal fired power plants and mining operations has, in some regions, created critical levels of toxicity.
HIT and Achernar Nanotecnologías S.A. have agreed the initial phases and development process to bring HNG applications into Chile during 2014 / 2015
