HIT joint venture with Globeco announced

Globeco, a world leader in oceanic clean up operations, has signed a joint venture with HIT to install HNG in one of Globeco’s mid size ships.

The installation will be a showcase for the shipping industry that will demonstrate the effectiveness of HNG to neutralize emissions, increase fuel efficiency, and even clean engines of carbon build up, a costly maintenance issue.

After the initial installation and further sea trials, the project will be extended to use the HNG systems in a wide range of Globeco’s 200 ships.

Also of interest to Globeco is the ability of HNG to eliminate plastic without toxic emissions. The collecting of plastic from the Mediterranean has been a major focus of Globeco for years and they are very enthusiastic about this new process that HNG delivers.
